October 6, 2003
(MCLEAN, VA) - SAIC today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Jullien Enterprises, a Washington, D.C. area electronic security systems integrator. The company engineers, installs, and integrates video systems, access control systems, vehicle barriers, perimeter protection systems, CAT5 networks, satellite-based networks, control centers, and installs fiber optic cable systems, both within buildings and underground. Jullien also has contributed to the construction of approximately 40 control centers, including the main operations center for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.

Jullien's clients include the U.S. Army, Department of Defense, Office of Government Ethics, Executive Office of the President, Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and various commercial clients, including AT&T, IBM and Xerox.

Jullien has 33 employees located in the Washington, D.C. area, and all will transition into SAIC's Telecommunications Technology Group.

“The addition of Jullien to our organization will allow SAIC to expand our ability to provide physical security systems integration services to the government market,” said Michael Daniels, sector vice president and manager of SAIC's Technology Applications Sector. “We look forward to adding Jullien's employees to our team and working together to focus on supporting our customers."
