Leidos National Security Expert Speaks at Atlantic Council Cyber 9/12 Student Challenge

March 10, 2016
(Reston, Va.) March 10, 2015 – Senior Vice President and Strategic Account Executive Robert Zitz of Leidos will provide a keynote address and act as a judge for the Atlantic Council’s Cyber 9/12 Student Challenge, to be held March 11-12 at the Mary Graydon Center of American University, Washington, D.C.

Organized and presented by the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative, the Cyber 9/12 Student Challenge provides a unique venue for promoting cyber education, knowledge and interest among the future generation of policymakers and practitioners. As the only student competition of its kind, it bridges the gap between the technical and policy communities, providing participants with an in-depth understanding of the actors, processes and strategies involved in cyber policymaking. This year 40 teams from 25 colleges and universities will compete with the winning team receiving national recognition.

Zitz is a former DHS deputy undersecretary who helped establish the department’s cybersecurity capabilities. In addition to his keynote addressing the threats cybersecurity pose to our nation’s critical infrastructure, Zitz will participate as a judge of the student competitions.
