Leidos Health Names Tom Aikens Deputy Group President

(Reston, Va.) September 10, 2015 – Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a health, national security and engineering solutions company, announced the appointment of Tom Aikens as deputy group president of Leidos Health, effective September 1. Aikens will report to Health and Engineering Group President Jonathan Scholl. In his new role, Aikens will be responsible for managing profit, revenue growth, marketing, staffing, and general management to drive business objectives and achieve strategic milestones for the company’s commercial health business.

Aikens joined the company in 2006 and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Operations, where he worked closely with executive practice leaders to manage the oversight of go-live services, operation and legacy support, and international operations. Prior to joining Leidos, he held several senior level positions including Executive Vice President of provider operations for NDC Health, and Vice President and General Manager for McKesson Provider Technologies.

Aikens holds a B.S. in Science Business (cum laude) from Marywood University, an MBA from Webster University in St Louis, and has served in the U.S. Army. He has also served as a board member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Orlando.
