Company pledges support to more than 2,100 individuals over five years

RESTON, Va., Oct. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a FORTUNE® 500 science and technology leader today announced its commitment to support the White House Pledge to America's Workers. Company representatives attended a pledge signing today alongside other companies and associations.

Leidos pledges to invest in the advancement of its current and future workforce by providing individuals with opportunities to develop skills that will help them succeed, not just in their current role, but throughout their careers.

Leidos is investing in both students and workers by providing opportunities for education and training that will help more Americans thrive in the modern workplace. Specifically, over the next five years, the company will work to create enhanced career opportunities for 2,125 individuals, including through increased apprenticeships and work-based learning programs, continuing education, on-the-job training and re-skilling.
