Leidos Achieves Silver Medal-Level On Victory Media's 2017 Military Friendly® Schools And Employers List

RESTON, Va., Dec. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a global science and technology company, has earned the 2017 Military Friendly® Employer and Silver Medal-level award designation by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs and Military Spouse. For more than a decade, Military Friendly ratings have set the standard for companies and colleges demonstrating positive employment and education outcomes for veterans and their families. The 2017 list of Military Friendly Employers distinguishes elite companies who boast the strongest job opportunities, hiring practices and retention programs for transitioning service members seeking civilian employment.

Leidos has a long-standing commitment to supporting military veterans and their families. With approximately 20 percent of the workforce comprised of veterans, Leidos operates a dedicated military veteran outreach program, Operation MVP.
